Love is the best gift you can give anyone, and we should do it cheerfully because we want to not because we feel we need to. Danny is truly an inspiration through his words as well as his actions. He not only devotes himself to helping others in Nicaragua, but he also devotes himself to helping students here be able to help others as well. I loved the part where he talked about his simple raw love, meaning he was not valued by his clothes or material possessions, but by himself as a person, his joy, soul and personality. Too many people get caught up in material things thinking that will bring them happiness, but it doesn't; happiness comes from within ourselves. Reading this story made me reflect on my life, as well as feel grateful there are people like Danny in the world, and to want to strive to be more like him.
